Cordeel-Van der Straaten building new quay for Damen Yachting in Vlissingen

We are constructing a brand-new quay, 120 metres long, complete with a workshop for the maintenance and refit of superyachts.

At the end of May, the Amels 120 Full Custom superyacht will berth here. Now in the final stages of outfitting in one of Damen Yachting’s covered dry docks, the yacht will be moved and moored at the new quay. It’s not only the first 120-metre Amels superyacht to be built but also the largest vessel of its kind currently under construction in the Netherlands.

With the sheet-pile walls already in place, we are now backfilling the area within the sheet piling using sand from the Western Scheldt. In the coming weeks, we will begin concrete work on the quay.
