Architecture and construction engineering students from HZ University of Applied Sciences visit Quooker project
During the visit, the students gained a sneak peek into both the preparation and construction phases of the project. We explained how projects like this take shape, the decisions made along the way and the rationale behind them. This gave them realistic insight into the dynamics and challenges of working in construction.
We also explored the process of building information modelling (BIM) and showed how we use digital software platform Dalux to optimise our processes and strengthen collaboration. By linking theory with practice, the students acquired a clear understanding of how innovative tools can contribute to more efficient project delivery.
Of course, no visit would have been complete without a tour of the new logistics centre. The students were able to see first-hand how the different elements come together on site and how plans turn into reality.
We hope their time at Quooker gave the students valuable insight into the industry and inspired them to consider a future in construction.
