Cordeel celebrates its people at annual jubilee event
The strong connections at Cordeel were evident as we raised our glasses to five colleagues marking their 12.5-, 25- and 35-year anniversaries. René Nodelijk, who was introduced to Cordeel by his brother, Ton, 12.5 years ago, received high praise from Erik: “René is highly skilled and consistently delivers impressive results as a senior work planner. We look forward to many more years together.”
Also celebrating his 12.5-year milestone was general foreman Werner van der Spek, recognised for his strong commitment to safety and quality. Erik said, “Werner leads with clarity, focusing on what truly matters. He serves as an inspiration to our future site managers.”
Additionally, Erik announced that Ad Bogers, who had reached 12.5 years of service as well, is highly regarded for his masonry skills and positive attitude: “A true professional, Ad brings a smile to work every day.”
Jurgen Mortier was celebrating 25 years with Cordeel. He has worked his way up from carpenter to measurement engineer and, recently, to foreman, a position in which he excels. “Jurgen is a true craftsman with a deep commitment to our company”, said Erik.
Hans van Pelt was also honoured for 35 years of service and praised for his vital contributions as a measurement engineer. Erik noted, “Hans is indispensable to our organisation.”
The celebration also featured heartfelt tributes to retirees Leo Boonman and Max Ras, both esteemed site managers with extensive experience in concrete work. “They have been exceptional mentors to the next generation”, remarked Erik. “We wish them all the best in their retirement.”
Cordeel strives to be a workplace where everyone feels valued and respected. Erik concluded, “We will continue to invest in our people and recognise their contributions.” The evening was filled with joy as colleagues — past and present — commemorated yet another successful anniversary event at Cordeel.
