Schelde Exotech expansion topping-out ceremony
Schelde Exotech supplies sophisticated products to the chemical and nuclear industries, including heat exchangers, reactors and columns made of stainless-steel alloys, titanium, aluminium etc. After experiencing a significant increase in order volume, it became clear that the company required more space. So, Schelde Exotech approached us to collaborate on expanding its facilities.
The project comprises additional warehouse space (1,000 m2) with an overhead crane, a state-of-the-art machine shop (3,000 m2) divided into three sections and equipped with 20- and 40-tonne overhead cranes and a separate, brand-new climate-controlled cleanroom (1,500 m2) with overhead cranes.
The expansion comes two years after the completion of Schelde Exotech’s new business premises in 2022, covering a total of 5,500 m2.
Completion of all aspects of the project is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2024.
