Hoofdkantoor DOW Benelux Terneuzen

Prime Minister Mark Rutte opens Dow headquarters

Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte and Dow CEO Jim Fitterling officially opened Dow's new office in Terneuzen on Wednesday, 24 April. Cordeel built this 16,000 m² office building in Terneuzen's Maintenance Value Park as a design and build contract.

After the speeches, guests were welcomed to the building's atrium where a 'black box' had been created for the official opening. A gong was struck and the black cloths were lowered, revealing the impressive building and the staff, who enthusiastically welcomed the guests to the Diamond Centre from the different floors.

Realised on schedule, the office was completed three weeks earlier and is now home to 1,100 staff members from more than 50 countries. As the main contractor, we were responsible for the complete design and turnkey realisation, including fitting out the building. In his opening speech, Dow Benelux President Anton van Beek praised the construction team's safety record: 350,000 work hours without an incident!
